Heat a pan and dry roast black peppercorns, cloves, bay leaves, cinnamon sticks and cardamom seeds and let it cool down and ground it into a powder. Heat 3-4tbsp oil in the pan and fry the onions on a medium flame for 3-4 minutes. Add ginger and garlic paste and fry it well. Remove the chicken pieces from the marinate and add in the pan.( do not add the marinate mixture, only chicken pieces) and fry it well. Add the chicken stock and grounded powder.
