Take the sieved flour in a bowl and make a dent and pour the mixed liquid in the dent and mix well without any lumps by using a whisk. Grate some orange zest in the batter and give it a mix. Grease a baking pan with butter and dust with some flour and pour the prepared batter into the pan. Tap the pan gently once or twice to remove any big air bubbles. Bake it to 30 minutes or until the toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let it cool down for 5 minutes and then invert the cake over a wire rack and let it cool. Notes 30 minutes of bake is only approximated time, so lessen or bake for more time according to your oven settings. The orange juice and the zest gives a nice orange flavor to the cake. The Eggless Orange Cake is one of the favorite cake recipes to be baked for birthdays and parties. The cake has the orange flavor with a light orange color, a soft and lite cake. So after having this cake, you won’t fell heavy and a relatively healthy recipe for an orange cake.

Ingredients

  • 1 & 1/4 cupPlain flour/Maida
