In a pan saute cumin seeds, fennel seeds, cardamom, cloves and cinnamon for a few seconds. Add finely sliced onions and saute till it turns soft and transparent. Ingredients

  • 1 cupBasmati rice
  • 1-1/2 cupsWater
  • 1 tablespoonGhee
  • 1Onion, finely sliced
  • 1/4 teaspoonCumin seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoonFennel seeds (Saunf)
  • 2Cardamom pods, coarsely crushed

Ingredients for marination

Directions
