How to proceed Divide the stuffing into equal portions and keep it aside. Divide the dough into 8 equal portions and roll each portion into a 150 mm. (6”) diameter circle using a little whole wheat flour. Spread a portion of the stuffing on one round andput another round on top. Heat a non-stick tawa (griddle), place the paratha on it and cook on a medium flame and brush with little oil and cook till both sides turn brown in color. Cut into pieces and serve it hot. Spring Onion Stuffed Paratha make a great breakfast dish. This paratha can be made quickly and can be  packed in your kid’s lunch box. It is a wholesome meal. 

Ingredients

For making dough

  • 3/4 cupplain flour (maida)
  • 5 tbspwhole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
  • 2 tspoil
  • saltto taste

For The Stuffing

  • 1-1/2 cupschopped spring onions whites and greens
  • 1 tbspoil
  • 1 tspfinely chopped green chilies
  • saltto taste

Other Ingredients

  • whole wheatflour (gehun ka atta) for rolling
  • oilfor cooking

Directions

For the dough
