Prep Time: 15min Cook time: 30min Ingredients: 3 cupsminced mutton,4green chilies chopped,5-6 clovesgarlic paste,1 inchginger paste,1 onionthinly chopped,1/2 tspcumin powder,1/2 tspcinnamon powder,2 tspgram flour (besan),1 tspcardamom powder,1/2 tspblack pepper powder,1 cupghee,1egg,Saltto taste, Instructions: Beat the egg in a bowl and keep it aside and in a pressure cook add the minced mutton, 6 cups of water and a little bit of salt and cook for 35 min and once done, blend it to a fine paste. Transfer it to a bowl and add garlic paste, ginger paste,onion, cumin powder, cinnamon powder, cardamom powder, salt, beaten eggs, gram flour, and green chilies. Mix it well and add a little amount of water if required and make a stiff dough and shape into small round kebabs and flatten it. In a pan add ghee, slowly place the kebabs and deep fry until turn into golden brown in color and drain it to a tissue paper and serve it hot with coriander chutney. Kebabs are an integral part of Mughlai cuisines. Shami Kebab is one such scrumptious recipe that belongs to Mughlai Cuisine. These crispy and delicious kebabs are easy to make and is a perfect snack for evening tea. Shami Kebabs are a perfect snack option during Ramadan month, so try this recipe at your home.  

Ingredients

  • 3 cupsminced mutton
  • 4green chilies chopped
  • 5-6 clovesgarlic paste
  • 1 inchginger paste
  • 1 onionthinly chopped
  • 1/2 tspcumin powder
  • 1/2 tspcinnamon powder
  • 2 tspgram flour (besan)
  • 1 tspcardamom powder
  • 1/2 tspblack pepper powder
  • 1 cupghee
  • 1egg
  • Saltto taste

Directions
