Add chili, chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, dry mango powder and coriander leaves and mix it well. For the paratha dough In a mixing bowl add 1 cup of wheat flour and also salt and add water in batches and knead the dough. Cover the dough with a moist cloth and keep it aside for 20 minutes. How to proceed Pinch a medium sized ball dough, roll and flatten it and roll into a circle of about 5 to 5.5 inches in diameter. Place the prepared radish stuffing in the center and also join the pleats together and press the pleats from the center and sprinkle some flour and roll it. Hot the tawa, place the rolled paratha and cook for a minute and then brush with oil/ ghee and press it slightly. Flip again once or twice till both the sides are cooked properly. Serve this paratha with curd or pickle. Notes: Squeezing water from radish is optional and as it helps to get rid of bitterness. Adjust the spices according to your taste. Mooli( Radish) Paratha is yummy shallow fried Indian bread. This easy recipe prepared with grated mooli and various other spices. It is a perfect, easy to carry dish for long journey and picnic. Let’s follow this recipe.

Ingredients

For stuffing:

  • 2 cupsradish/ mooli, gratedd
  • ½ tspsalt
  • 1green chili, finely chopped
  • ½ tspKashmiri chili powder
  • ¼ tspturmeric powder
