Add the onions and fry them till they are translucent. Add the washed rice and fry for some time and mix thoroughly. Add the blended green masala and stir thoroughly and add the prawns and mix again. Ingredients

  • 2 cupsRice, washed and drained
  • 2 cupsPrawns, washed and cleaned
  • 1/2 cupof Green Masala
  • 1Large Onion, Chopped
  • 1Bay leaf
  • 4Cardamon pods
  • 5Peppercorns
  • 5Cloves
  • 1-2inches of Cinnamon

Green Masala

  • 1small bunch Coriander leaves ( about 1 cup)
  • 4cloves Garlic
  • 1 inchGinger
  • 1/2 tspCumin seeds
  • 1 tbspCoriander seeds
  • 4green chilies
  • 4.5Water
  • Saltto taste

Directions

For Green Masala

  • Blend coriander leaves, garlic, ginger, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, chilies, salt, and water as needed and blend into a fine paste
