When the milk starts boiling, add the rice-milk paste and stir continuously and mix it well. Cook on a slow flame and stir continuously, for at least 10 minutes. Add sugar and mix it well till the sugar dissolves completely. Add the nutmeg powder, cardamom powder, and saffron, mix it well and remove form the flame to cool. Peel and grate 2 apples and add when the mixture has cooled well and add the grated apple to it. Garnish with one sliced apple and the chopped nuts. Refrigerate and serve it chill.   • 1/2 tspsaffron (kesar) strands
  • 10-12chopped almonds (badam)
  • 10-12chopped pistachios

Directions
