Prep Time: 10min Cook time: 25min Ingredients: 1 tbspyellow moong dal (split yellow gram),1 tbspmasoor dal (split red lentil),1 tbspurad dal (split black lentils),1 tbspchana dal (split bengal gram),1 tbsptoovar (arhar) dal,To tastesalt,1/2 tspturmeric powder (haldi),2 tbspghee,1 tspcumin seeds (jeera),1/2 cupfinely chopped onions,2 tspginger-garlic (adrak-lehsun) paste,1/2 cupfinely chopped tomatoes,1/2 tspgaram masala,1 tspchili powder,2 tspcoriander-cumin seeds (dhania-jeera) powder,1/2 cupbeaten fresh curd (dahi),1 tbspfinely chopped coriander (dhania), Instructions: Wash moong dal, masoor dal, chana dal, toovar dal, and urad dal and soak for 1 hour and then drain water from the dals. In a pressure cooker add the soaked dals, 2 cups of water, salt, and turmeric powder, mix it well and pressure cook for 20 min and allow the steam to escape before opening the lid and keep it aside. Heat the ghee in a deep non-stick kadhai and add the cumin seeds and when the seeds crackle, add onions and ginger-garlic paste and saute on a medium flame for 1 minute. Add tomatoes and 2 tbsp of water, mix it well and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes. Add the garam masala, chili powder and coriander-cumin seeds powder, mix it well and cook on a medium flame for 2minutes. Add curd and coriander, mix it well and cook on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes and stir continuously. Add dals, mix it well and cook on a slow flame for 2 minutes and stir occasionally. Ingredients

  • 1 tbspyellow moong dal (split yellow gram)
  • 1 tbspmasoor dal (split red lentil)

  • 1 tbspchana dal (split bengal gram)
  • 1 tbsptoovar (arhar) dal
  • To tastesalt
