Heat Appe pan and add a drop of oil in each cavity/mold and add a tbsp of batter in each cavity and cover with a lid and cook for 2 minutes. Then flip on the other side and cook for 2 minutes and cook until brown color from both the sides. Remove it form pan and place the Appe on a serving plate and serve it hot with coconut chutney. Vegetable Appe/ Appam is a quick snack loaded with vegetable. A simple instant recipe with rava( suji) and veggies. This dish perfect for kids. It is a quick breakfast recipe that can be packed for tiffin also. Let’s follow this recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 CupSooji
  • 1/2 CupCurd
  • FinelyChopped vegetables like beet, carrot, onion, capsicum, tomato, green chilies
  • 1 tspEno
  • Finelychopped coriander
  • Saltas per taste
  • Waterif needed to adjust the consistency of the batter
  • Oilfor frying

Directions

  • In a mixing bowl, add sooji and curd and mix it well to a smooth batter and keep it the batter aside for an hour.
  • After an hour add 1 tsp eno/soda, salt, and chopped vegetables and mix it very gently.
