Heat a deep pan with oil and deep fry a few balls at a time in hot oil until golden brown in color and drain on absorbent paper and keep it aside. For the sauce Heat the oil in a wok or frying pan and add the garlic, green chilies, and ginger and stir-fry over a high flame for a few seconds. Add the stock/ water, soya sauce, cornflour paste, sugar, and salt and cook for a few minutes on a low flame. How to serve Just before serving, put the vegetable balls in the sauce and boil it. For The Vegetable Balls

  • 3 cupsfinely chopped cabbage
  • 1 1/4 cupscarrot , grated
  • 1/2 cupchopped onions
  • 2 tbspcornflour
  • 5 tbspplain flour (maida)
  • 1 tbspfinely chopped garlic (lehsun)
  • 2 tspfinely chopped green chilies
  • saltand to taste

  • For The Sauce

Directions

For the vegetable balls
