Prep Time: Cook time: Ingredients: 1 1/2 cupsbesan (bengal gram flour),1 1/2 tbspsemolina (rava),4 tspsugar,1 tspginger-green chili paste,1 tsplemon juice,saltto taste,1 tspfruit salt,3 tspoil,1 tspmustard seeds ( rai / sarson),1 tspsesame seeds (til),a pinchof asafoetida (hing),2 to 3curry leaves (kadi patta),1 tspchopped green chilies, For The Garnish 2 tbspfinely chopped coriander (dhania), Instructions: In a bowl add the besan, semolina, sugar, ginger-green chili paste, lemon juice, salt, and approx. ¾ cup of water and mix it well by using a whisk and make a smooth batter. Just before steaming, add the fruit salt and mix it lightly. Grease 175 mm. (7") diameter thali(plate) with oil and pour the mixture immediately to the greased 175 mm. (7") diameter thali(plate) and spread evenly by rotating the thali clockwise. Steam in a steamer for 10 to 12 minutes or till the dhoklas are cooked and switch off the flame and keep it aside. Heat the oil in a small non-stick pan and add the mustard seeds and when the seeds crackle, add the sesame seeds, asafoetida, curry leaves and green chilies and fry on a medium flame for 30 seconds. Remove from the flame, pour the tempering over the prepared dhokla and spread it evenly. Cut the dhokla into pieces, garnish it with coriander leaves and serve it. Easy Khaman Dhokla Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cupsbesan (bengal gram flour)
  • 1 1/2 tbspsemolina (rava)
  • 4 tspsugar
  • 1 tspginger-green chili paste
  • 1 tsplemon juice
  • saltto taste
  • 1 tspfruit salt
  • 3 tspoil
  • 1 tspmustard seeds ( rai / sarson)
  • 1 tspsesame seeds (til)
  • a pinchof asafoetida (hing)
  • 2 to 3curry leaves (kadi patta)
  • 1 tspchopped green chilies

For The Garnish

  • 2 tbspfinely chopped coriander (dhania)
