Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and chili powder and fry for a minute. Add 4 cups of water, add potatoes and cover with the lid and stir occasionally and cook on a low flame till the potatoes are well boiled and add salt if needed. Add the semolina and cook on a high flame and stir occasionally. Remove from the flame and pour 1 tsp of ghee on top of the upma and garnish with coriander leaves. Green Moong Dal Dhokla Recipe

Dhokla is one of the most popular and authentic Gujarati recipes. Green Moong Dal Dhokla is an extremely pleasant snack. It is best enjoyed with a cup tea. This dhokla is low in calories and also healthy.

Ingredients

  • 1 cupGreen Moong Dal (Whole)
  • 1/4 cupRice
  • 1/2 cupWhite Urad Dal (Whole)
  • 2 tablespoonsYogurt (Curd)
  • 2Green Chilies
  • 1 inchGinger, grated
  • Red chilipowder, for sprinkling
  • 1 tablespooCooking oil
  • 2 teaspoonsEnos fruit salt
  • Saltto taste

for seasoning

  • 1 tablespoonCooking oil
  • 1 teaspoonMustard seeds

  • 5-6Curry leaves, finely chopped

Directions
