In a bowl add saffron with warm milk and mix it lightly till the saffron dissolves. Add the rose water to it and mix it well and add this saffron mixture to the sugar syrup and mix it well and keep it aside. How to proceed In a bowl sieve the flour with a pinch of baking powder and keep it aside. In a bowl add the curd and 1/3 cup of water and whisk it well and add the flour and make a thick batter, making sure that no lumps remain and keep it aside. Heat the ghee in a broad saucepan (the pan should be approximately 25 mm. (1") deep). Take a plastic bottle or a piping bag with a small hole in the lid and fill with the batter and press the bottle to form a coil shaped jalebi, starting from the inside to the outside. Deep-fry till the Jalebi turn golden brown in color from both the sides and reheat the sugar syrup and transfer immediately onto the warm sugar syrup.
