Boil 2 cups of water in a deep non-stick pan, add the chopped tomatoes and cook for 3 to 4 minutes and do not strain the water and keep it aside to cool After it cools down, in a blender add the cooked tomatoes, curry leaves, and chili powder and blend to a smooth puree. Transfer the puree to a deep non-stick pan and cook it on a low flame. Add the besan mixture, salt, sugar and lemon juice, mix well and cook it on a low flame for 3 to 4 minutes and keep it aside. Heat the ghee in a small pan and add the mustard seeds and cumin seeds and when they crackle, switch off the flame and add the tempering to the tomato shorba and mix it well. Garnish with coriander and serve it hot and enjoy it with your loved once. Quick and Healthy Tamatar ka Shorba Recipe

Tamatar ka Shorba is a simple as well as a quick recipe. This shorba is very flavorful as it is seasoned with different spices. It is healthy, nutritious and delicious. Shorba is a good appetizer and helps in digestions.

Ingredients

  • 1 tspbesan (Bengal gram flour)
  • 12-15large tomato(Tamatar), roughly chopped
  • 3 to 4curry leaves (kadi patta)
  • 1/2 tbspchili powder
  • saltto taste
  • 2 tspsugar
  • 2 tsplemon juice
  • 1 tbspghee
  • 1 tspmustard seeds (rai/ sarson)
  • 1 tspcumin seeds (jeera)
  • 3 cupwater

For The Garnish

  • 1 tbspchopped coriander (dhania)

Directions
