In microwave safe bowl add oil and microwave it for a second and then add the paneer, turmeric powder, ½ tsp of chili powder and salt , mix it well and microwave on high for 1 minute and keep it aside. In a microwave safe bowl add 3 tbsp of oil and the prepared paste, mix it well, cover with a microwave safe lid and microwave on high power for 5 minutes and stir once in between. Add the tomato puree, chili powder, garam masala, cumin seeds powder, coriander powder and salt, mix it well and microwave on high power for 3 minutes. Add the cooked paneer, cream and sugar, mix it well and microwave on high power for 2 minutes and once cooked, garnish with coriander leaves and serve it hot with tandoori roti. Delicious Badami Paneer Recipe

Badami Paneer is a rich curry made with paneer(cottage cheese). It is creamy, rich, tasty, and delicious dish.This dish is very easy to prepare, as it is cooked in microwave. Try this delicious lunch or dinner recipe at your home and serve it with any Indian bread.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cupspaneer (cottage cheese) cubes
  • 1/2 cuptomato puree
  • a pinchof turmeric powder (haldi)
  • 1 tspchili powder
  • 1/2 tspgaram masala
  • 1/2 tspcumin seeds (jeera) powder
  • 1/2 tspcoriander (dhania) powder
  • 2 tbspfresh cream
  • 2 tbspof sugar
  • 4 tbspoil
  • saltto taste

To Be Ground To A Smooth Paste

  • 20almonds (badam)
  • 4whole dry kashmiri red chilies , broken into pieces
  • 1/2 cuproughly chopped onions
  • 12 mm (1/2")piece of ginger (adrak)
  • 1 tsproughly chopped garlic (lehsun)
  • 1/2 cupwater

For The Garnish

  • 1 tbspchopped coriander leaves (dhania)

Directions

  • In blender almond, red chili, onions, ginger, 1/2 cup of water and blend to a smooth paste and keep it aside.
  • In microwave safe bowl add oil and microwave it for a second and then add the paneer, turmeric powder, ½ tsp of chili powder and salt , mix it well and microwave on high for 1 minute and keep it aside.
  • In a microwave safe bowl add 3 tbsp of oil and the prepared paste, mix it well, cover with a microwave safe lid and microwave on high power for 5 minutes and stir once in between.
  • Add the tomato puree, chili powder, garam masala, cumin seeds powder, coriander powder and salt, mix it well and microwave on high power for 3 minutes.
  • Add the cooked paneer, cream and sugar, mix it well and microwave on high power for 2 minutes and once cooked, garnish with coriander leaves and serve it hot with tandoori roti.
