Add the chopped tomatoes,fry it and cook on a high flame for 2-3 minutes and add half a cup of water, cover with the lid and cook on a low flame for 3-4 min Add the paneer cubes, sprinkle the dried mango powder and mix it well and cook on a low flame for few minutes till the paneer cubes are fully coated with the masala and once done, switch off the flame and transfer it to a serving bowl serve it hot with aloo paratha. Kasoori Methi Paneer is an authentic dish of North Indian cuisine. It is a delicious combination of soft cottage cheese (paneer),dried fenugreek leaves. This dish can be prepared easily at your home with few ingredient. It is perfect for weekend lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

  • 200 GramsPaneer (cottage cheese) cut into ½ inch cubes
  • 2 TeaspoonsDried fenugreek leaves (kasoori methi) roasted and crushed
  • 1 TablespoonOil
  • 1 TablespoonGreen chili-ginger paste
  • 1 TeaspoonCumin seeds
  • 1 TeaspoonKashmiri Red chili powder
  • 1 TablespoonCoriander powder
  • SaltTo Taste
  • 2Medium Tomatoes finely chopped
  • 1 TeaspoonDried Mango powder

Directions
