Divide the dough into equal portions and roll out a portion into a circle of 150 mm (6”) diameter by using a little rajgira flour. Heat a non-stick tawa (griddle) and cook the paratha by using a little oil and cook till it turns golden brown in color from both sides. Serve it with green chutney and fresh curd. Soft and Tasty Rajgira Paratha Recipe

Rajgira Paratha is a flat bread made with Rajgira flour (Amaranth flour), potato and various seasoning. This paratha is different from regular paratha what we eat and it is also healthy and filled with nutrients. This paratha is generally made during festivals and fasting. 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Rajgira flour (cholai/ Amaranth)
  • 1/4 cupboiled, peeled and mashed potatoes
  • 2 tbspfinely chopped coriander (dhania)
  • 1/2 tspfreshly ground black pepper (kalimirch) powder
  • saltto taste
