In a blender, add 1/2 cup of the chana dal, green chilies and blend to a coarse mixture and transfer the mixture into a bowl, add cabbage, remaining chana dal, chopped carrots, chopped onion and mix it nicely. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion into a 50 mm. (2”) diameter thick, lightly flattened round vada. Delicious Cabbage Vada Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cupchana dal (split Bengal gram)

  • 1/4 cupfinely chopped onions
