Add the green chilies, chopped spinach, corn kernels and turmeric powder, mix it well and cook on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes and stir occasionally. Add the cooked brown rice and salt, mix it well and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes and stir occasionally and once done, switch off the flame. Serve it hot with any raita of your choice. Tips ¾ cup brown rice, when soaked for 2 hours and cooked yields 2 ¼ cups of cooked brown rice. Ingredients

  • 1 cupboiled sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane)
  • 2 cupschopped spinach (palak)
  • 2 1/4 cupscooked brown rice( refer the tips below)
  • 2 tspoil
  • 4black peppercorns (kalimirch)
  • 1stick cinnamon (dalchini)
  • 2cloves (laung / lavang)
  • 4cardamoms (elaichi)
  • 1 cupsliced onions
  • 1/2 tbspfinely chopped green chilies

Directions
