Prep Time: Cook time: Ingredients: 12dried figs (Anjeer),10-15walnuts (akhrot), chopped,10-15almonds (badam), chopped,10-15pistachios, chopped,2 tbsproasted sesame seeds (til),1 tspghee,a fewsaffron (kesar) strands dissolved in 2 tsp of milk,1/4 tspcardamom (elaichi) powder, Instructions: In a bowl soak the dried figs in enough hot water for 5 minutes and after 5 min, drain the water from the figs and blend to a smooth mixture and keep it aside. Heat the ghee in a broad non-stick pan, add the dried fig mixture, chopped walnuts, almonds, pistachios and sesame seeds, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute. Switch off the flame, add the saffron-milk mixture and cardamom powder and mix well. Transfer the mixture onto a greased plate and spread it evenly with a flat spoon and keep it aside cool. Once cool, cut it into equal square-shaped pieces and serve it or store it in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
