Then add the grated coconut, milk and cardamom powder to the sugar syrup and cook it on a medium flame for 10-15 min and stir frequently to prevent the mixture from sticking to the pan. Grease a tray (8 x 8 inch square which has a 2 inch min height) with ghee and transfer the coconut mixture and level the burfi mixture.
