Prep Time: Cook time: Ingredients: 1 tspgarlic (lehsun) paste,1 cupsoaked and boiled kabuli chana (white chick peas),3/4 cupboiled, peeled and mashed potatoes,1/2 cupsoya granules,1/4 cupfinely chopped onions,1/4 cupfinely chopped mint leaves (phudina),1 1/2 tspgreen chili paste,1 tsplemon juice,saltto taste, Other Ingredients 1/2 cupplain flour (maida),breadcrumbs for rolling,oilfor deep-frying, Instructions: In a bowl, add plain flour and ¾ cup of water and whisk well till no lumps remain and keep it aside. In a bowl, add,soya granules and enough hot water in a deep bowl and soak for 10 minutes and after 10 min, drain the water from the soya granules and squeeze all the water. In a blender, add kabuli chana, soya granules and mint leaves and blend to a coarse paste and transfer the mixture into a deep bowl. Add onion, potatoes, green chilies, lemon juice, and salt and mix it well. Divide the mixture into equal portions and roll each portion into a 50 mm. (2”) diameter round tikki. Dip each tikki in the maida-water mixture and roll in the bread crumbs till they are evenly coated from all the sides. Heat the oil in a deep non-stick kadhai and deep-fry, a few tikkis at a time and fry till it turns golden brown in color from all the sides. Drain on an absorbent paper and serve it with green chutney. Ingredients

  • 1 tspgarlic (lehsun) paste
