Add the rajma, chili powder, salt and 2 cups of water, mix it well and cook for 20 min and switch off the flame and allow the steam to escape before opening the lid. Allow the mixture to cool completely and blend to a smooth puree and transfer the puree into a deep non-stick pan, add ½ cup water and mix it well. Cook on a low flame for 2 to 3 min and stir occasionally and switch off the flame and add the lemon juice and mix it well.
