Prep Time: 15min Cook time: 25min Ingredients: 4 cupsMilk,½ cup + 1 teaspoonsRice flour,½ cupSugar,¼ cupGrated coconut,½ teaspoonCardamom powder,Ghee,5Cashews,5Raisins, Instructions: Take a wide bowl and add rice flour along with ghee to it Add boiled water little by little to the rice flour and mix it well and make a smooth dough Cover it slightly with a plate and let it cool for a couple of minutes Grease your hands with ghee and divide the dough into small portions Shape them into long strips Take a wide vessel and add milk to it Bring it to boil and add sugar along with cardamom powder Allow it to boil for few minutes Add dough strips to the milk and cook for 12 to 15 minutes Add little bit of water to the rice flour and keep it aside Add grated coconut and diluted rice flour to the milk and cook for 3 more minutes Off the flame and present it god with cashew nuts along with raisins at the top as naivedyam for Sri Ramanavami. Pala Thalikalu is a sweet dish that is prepared with whole wheat flour, sugar, milk, jaggery and cardamom. It is one of the special recipes for many occasions like Vinayaka Chavithi, Pongal, etc.

Ingredients

  • 4 cupsMilk
  • ½ cup + 1 teaspoonsRice flour
  • ½ cupSugar
  • ¼ cupGrated coconut
  • ½ teaspoonCardamom powder
  • Ghee
  • 5Cashews
  • 5Raisins

Directions
