Prep Time: 10min Cook time: 15min Ingredients: 1 cupQuick oats,½ cupRice flour,½ cupYogurt,½ teaspoonCumin seeds,1Green chilies,2 tablespoonsCoriander leaves,1 teaspoonGinger,1/3 cupCabbage shredded,1/3 cupCarrot shredded,½ teaspoonSalt,1 cupWater,1 ½ tablespoonOil, Instructions: Place oats, rice flour, cumin seeds, salt in a grinder and make them in to a fine powder Add yogurt, water to the powder and prepare batter consistency of dosa Keep it aside for about 15 minutes Add green chilies, cilantro, cabbage, carrot to the batter and mix them well. Place a non stick pan on low flame and grease it lightly Pour the batter mixture on skillet and spread it evenly in a round circle with a ladle Add some oil to the dosa at the ends and wait for about 30 seconds Once the ends of the dosa and the middle part get golden brown in color, flip it to the other side with flat spatula Press the dosa with the spatula so that it cooks evenly on both the sides Fold the dosa as shown in the picture and serve it hot with Onion Chutney. -Neelima

Oats Dosa is an instant and healthy breakfast that is very simple to prepare. It is a nutritious packed dosa that is prepared with more oats in large quantity and rice in less quantity. 

Ingredients

  • 1 cupQuick oats
  • ½ cupRice flour
  • ½ cupYogurt
  • ½ teaspoonCumin seeds
  • 1Green chilies
  • 2 tablespoonsCoriander leaves
  • 1 teaspoonGinger
  • 1/3 cupCabbage shredded
  • 1/3 cupCarrot shredded
  • ½ teaspoonSalt
  • 1 cupWater
  • 1 ½ tablespoonOil

Directions

  • Place oats, rice flour, cumin seeds, salt in a grinder and make them in to a fine powder
  • Add yogurt, water to the powder and prepare batter consistency of dosa
  • Keep it aside for about 15 minutes
