In the pot, melt 3-4tbsp ghee and add bay leaf, cardamom, cinnamon and cloves and fry it well. Add onions, ginger, garlic and green chilies, and saute on a medium flame for 2-3 minutes. Mix turmeric powder, salt, coriander powder and cumin powder in a bowl and add a little water to make a thick paste and add it to the vessel and mix it well.
