Prep Time: 20min Cook time: 15min Ingredients: ½ cupSemolina,1 cupWater,¼ cupSugar,Grated coconutGrated coconut,Cardamom powderCardamom powder,GheeGhee,for fryingOil, Instructions: Heat water in a pan and bring it to boil Add 1 teaspoon of ghee to it Add semolina to hot water and stir constantly with the ladle to avoid formation of lumps Mix it well and add sugar, grated coconut and cardamom powder Mix everything well and off the flame Cover the pan and keep it aside for about 5 minutes Open the lid and divide the entire dough into small lemon size balls Grease your hand with ghe and flatten each ball between your palms or you can also use a greased polythene paper to flatten the balls Keep them aside Place a pan on flame and add oil to it When the oil is hot, gently place each patty into the hot oil Fry them on medium flame until they become golden brown in color Remove it from slotted spoon and place them on oil absorbent paper Transfer them on plate. Tasty Rava Appalu Recipe

Sweet Appam is traditional recipe that is usually prepared in festivals like Sankranti, Vinayaka Chavithi, Dasara, etc. This is very different and delectable recipe. Have a look and prepare easy Rava Appalu dish at home.

Ingredients

  • ½ cupSemolina
  • 1 cupWater
  • ¼ cupSugar
  • Grated coconutGrated coconut
  • Cardamom powderCardamom powder
  • GheeGhee
  • for fryingOil

Directions

  • Heat water in a pan and bring it to boil
  • Add 1 teaspoon of ghee to it
  • Add semolina to hot water and stir constantly with the ladle to avoid formation of lumps
  • Mix it well and add sugar, grated coconut and cardamom powder

  • Cover the pan and keep it aside for about 5 minutes
