Tadoori Roti is similar to naan bread but is traditionally cooked on a clay oven or tandoor. It is prepared with normal chapatti dough and is extremely easy to prepare. Take a look at the step by step preparation of Tasty Tandoori Roti.

Ingredients

  • 2 cupsWheat flour
  • SaltTo Taste
  • Water
  • Oil or ButterTo Brush

Directions

  • Add wheat flour to a mixing bowl and add water to make a soft dough
  • Cover it and keep aside for about 30 minutes
  • Divide the dough into equal portions and roll them into oval shapes
  • Sprinkle water on the tops of rotis and flip the water side down on hot roti pan
  • Flip over the other side directly on flame and heat it till black spots appear on top of the roti
  • Place the roti on the hot pan and brush it with oil or butter
  • Place it on a serving bowl and continue the same process with the remaining rotis
