Prep Time: Cook time: Ingredients: 400gmsWheat flour,Saltto taste,1 cupOil or ghee,150 gmsSplit Bengal gram,50gmsSugar or jaggery,4Green cardamom, Instructions: Soak Bengal gram in water for about 5 hours Take a bowl and add sift flour, 1 tablespoon of ghee, salt to it Mix them well and form a smooth dough with warm water Cover the dough and keep it aside for about 20 minutes Boil gram in cooker with 3 tablespoons of water Off the flame after 1 whistle and keep it aside to cool Grind it gently without mixing water Place a pan and heat 1 tablespoon of ghee Add ground lentil and powdered sugar to it Fry for about 5 minutes and cool the mixture Add the green cardamom powder to it Take a small portion of dough and flatten it Stuff 2 tablespoons of pooran and seal it Press in between the palms and rub it with flour Roll into a round of about 6 inches diameter with a rolling stick Put it on the hot griddle and heat it both the sides by applying ghee or oil Fry it till the pooran turn light brown in color Remove it from griddle and place them in a serving plate The tasty and sweet Pooran Poli is ready to eat. Ingredients

  • 400gmsWheat flour
  • Saltto taste
  • 1 cupOil or ghee

  • 4Green cardamom

Directions

  • Soak Bengal gram in water for about 5 hours
