Prep Time: 10min Cook time: 15min Ingredients: 1/2 cupyellow moong dal (split yellow gram) , soaked for 3 hours and drained,3/4 cupblanched and roughly chopped spinach,3 green chiliesroughly chopped,1 tbspfresh low-fat curd,saltto taste,1/2 tspfruit salt,1/4 tspoil for greasing, Instructions: In a blender, add the yellow moong dal , spinach and green chilies and blend into a smooth paste Transfer the mixture into a bowl, add the curd and salt and mix it well and just before steaming, add the fruit salt to the batter and pour 2 tsp water over it and when the bubbles form, mix it gently. Grease the idli molds with oil and pour spoonful of the batter into idli molds and steam in a steamer for 10 to 12 minutes or till the idlis are soft. Once done, de-mold and serve it with sambar and complete a hearty meal with your loved once.
