Prep Time: 20min Cook time: 20min Ingredients: 3/4 cupGreen moong dal (split green gram) , soaked for 2 hours and drained,1/2 tbsproughly chopped green chilies,saltto taste,3 tsp oilfor greasing and cooking To Be Mixed Into A Mixed Sprouts and Paneer Topping,1/2 cupboiled and coarsely crushed mixed sprouts (matki , moong , chana , etc.),1/4 cupcrumbled paneer (cottage cheese),1/2 tspfinely chopped green chilies,1/2 tspchaat masala,1 tbspfinely chopped coriander (dhania),salt to taste, Instructions: In a bowl, add the mixed sprouts, paneer, chopped green chilies, chaat masala, chopped coriander leaves and salt and mix it nicely and keep it aside. In a blender, add green moong dal, green chilies and 5 tbsp of water and blend to a smooth paste. Transfer the blended paste into a deep bowl, add the salt and mix it well and keep it aside. Heat and grease a non-stick tawa (griddle) by using ¼ tsp of oil and pour a portion of the batter on the tawa (griddle) and spread it evenly by a ladle to make a 125 mm (5”) diameter thin circle. Top each of the cheela with 2 tsp of the mixed sprouts and paneer topping and press it gently so that the topping sticks well to the batter Cook the cheela by using ¼ tsp of oil and cook till both sides turn golden brown in color. Once done, switch off the flame and transfer it to a serving plate and serve it hot with green chutney.
