After 30 min, coat the blended masala paste to the fish and keep it aside for 10 min. Heat a non-stick tawa and add a little oil and slowly place the fish on the tawa and drizzle oil to the sides of the tawa. A popular recipe,  Masala Fish Fry is an instant hit with fish lovers. This dish is an easy to make and can be prepared in just few minutes. This fry is spicy and has a blast of flavors. It can be served as an appetizer or also can be served as side dish with any meal.

Ingredients

  • 6 to 8 piecesFish ( pomfret, seer or any fish)
  • ½Onion
  • small pieceGinger
  • 2 or 3Garlic
  • a small pieceCinnamon
  • 2Cloves
  • 1 tspCoriander seeds
  • ½ tspCumin seeds
  • ½ tspPepper corns
  • ¼ tspFennel seeds
  • SaltTo taste

To Marinate

  • ¼ tspTurmeric powder
  • ½ tspRed chilly powder
  • 1 tspLemon juice
  • SaltTo taste
  • To fryOil
  • To garnishOnion slice and lime wedge

Directions
