Add sliced onions and fry till the onions turn translucent and add tomato slices and allow to cook. Add turmeric powder, salt, and mix it well and add 1 cup of water and allow to boil. Cover with a lid and cook on low flame for 40 to 45 min. ( at this stage you can also transfer it to pressure cooker and cook until mutton is done) Once the mutton is cooked, mix it nicely and add yogurt and mix it well. Add pepper powder, saunf powder, Kashmiri red chilly powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, cumin powder and kasoori methi powder. Mix it well and cook it Add freshly chopped coriander and mint leaves and squeeze out few drops of lemon and mix it nicely and cook on a low flame for 2-3 min. Ingredients

  • ½ kgMutton / lamb
