When the bubbles reduces, flip the pakoda and fry till its crispy. Drain it in the paper towel and after cooled down store in airtight container to enjoy these crisp flavorful pakoda. Notes: You can replace the pepper powder with 3/4 tsp red chili powder and 1/8 tsp turmeric. Easy Ribbon Pakoda Recipe

Let’s learn an easy Ribbon Pakoda recipe which does not require a lot of planning and can be prepared with ingredients readily available at your home. Ribbon Pakoda is a popular South Indian Tea time snack generally made during festival time.

Ingredients

  • 1 cupRice flour (or idiyappam flour)
  • 1 cupGram flour/Kadala maavu
  • 3/4 tspPepper powder(coarse)
  • 1 tbspButter, melted or soft
  • 1 tbspOil
  • 1/4 tspAsafoetida powder
  • As neededSalt & water
  • OilFor deep frying

Directions

  • In a bowl add rice flour,gram flour,pepper powder,butter(softened),oil,asafoetida,salt and mix it well
