Knead into a soft dough and cover it with a muslin cloth and keep it aside for 10 minutes. After 6 min, divide the dough into equal portions and roll out each portion into a 125 mm. (5") diameter circle by using a little jowar flour. Heat a non-stick tawa (griddle) and cook each roti by using ¼ tsp of oil and cook till it turns golden brown in color from both the sides. Jowar Methi Roti is a gluten free, healthy flat bread that has the goodness of methi leaves ( fenugreek leaves) and jowar ( white millet). It is slightly bitter in taste because of methi leaves and also the bitter taste is balanced by the nutty sweetness of the jowar. This roti is a prefect wholesome breakfast and a very healthy dish for kid’s and women. Let’s follow this healthy roti.

Ingredients

  • 1 cupJowar (white millet) Flour
  • 1 cupFinely chopped fenugreek (methi) leaves
  • 1/2 cupFinely chopped onions
  • 1/4 cupFinely chopped coriander (dhania)
  • 1 tspChopped green chilies
  • 1 tbspBlack sesame seeds (kala til)
  • To TasteSalt
  • For RollingJowar (white millet) flour
  • 1 1/2 tspOil for cooking

Directions
