Roll a portion of the dough into a 175 mm. (7”) diameter circle by using a little whole wheat flour. Heat a non-stick tawa (griddle) and cook by using a little oil till both the sides turn golden brown in color. Once done, place it on a plate and keep it aside. For the potato and green pea rolls In a bowl, add mashed potatoes, green pea, grated cheese, mint leaves, chili paste, garam masala, lemon juice, and salt and mix it nicely. Divide the mixture into equal portions and roll each portion into a long oblong shape and flatten it. Heat a non-stick tawa (griddle) and grease it with little oil and cook the rolls using a little oil till they turn golden brown in color from both the sides and keep it aside. For onion masala water In a bowl, add chopped onion, chopped mint leaves, dried mango powder, chili powder, salt, and water and mix it nicely and keep it aside. How to proceed Place the roti on a clean, dry surface, spread 1 tbsp of the prepared onion-masala water and spread it evenly. Place a roll on one side of the roti and roll it up tightly and serve it with glass chilled fruit juice. Notes The quantity of the milk may differ according to the quality of the whole wheat flour so always add milk little by little and make a soft dough.

Directions

For the rotis

  • In a bowl, wheat flour, oil, salt, milk and mix it nicely and knead into a soft dough and divide the dough into equal portions.
