Paneer Pakora is a popular Indian deep fried tea time snack. This snack is crunchy from outside and soft from inside. It gives a nice flavor in every bit and very easy to make. It can be served as a appetizer in any party. Try this snack at your home and enjoy it with a hot cup of tea.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cupsPaneer (cottage cheese) cubes
  • OilDeep-frying

To Be Mixed Into A Dry Powder

  • 1/4 tspCarom seeds (ajwain)
  • 1/2 tspChili powder
  • 1/2 tspGaram masala
  • 1/2 tspCoriander-cumin seeds (dhania-jeera) powder
  • 1/2 tspDried mango powder (amchur)

Directions

For The Batter

  • In a batter add besan, chili powder, turmeric powder, hing, oil, chopped coriander leaves, soda, and salt and also add ½ cup of water and mix it well and keep it aside.

How To Proceed

  • In a bowl add the paneer and the prepared dry masala powder and toss it gently.
  • Heat the oil in a deep non-stick kadhai, dip each masala paneer cubes in the batter and drop it slowly into the hot oil and fry few at a time and deep-fry on a medium flame till golden brown in color from all the sides.
