This dish is loaded with all the required essential nutrients especially for the growing kids. Prep Time: 15min Cook time: 20min Ingredients: 1 cupShredded Paneer,1 cupBoiled mashed potatoes,2 tablespoonsMinced cilantro,1/2 teaspoonCumin seed,1/2 teaspoonSalt,1 teaspoonChopped green chilly,to fryOil, For the Batter: 2 ½ tablespoonsAll Purpose Flour / Maida,4 tablespoonsWater, For The Gravy: 2 tablespoonsOil,2Tomato,1Green chilly,a small pieceGinger,a pinchAsafetida / hing,1/2 teaspoonCumin seeds,1 teaspoonCoriander powder,1/4 teaspoonTurmeric powder,3/4 teaspoonRed chilly powder,¼ cupFresh cream,1 tablespoonMaida flour,1/2 teaspoonGaram masala powder,to tasteSalt,Freshcilantro leaves Instructions: Mix the entire ingredients for the koftha. Add /12 tsp of maida to knead to soft the dough. Make them in round balls Mix 2 and ½ maida with about 3-4 tsp of water. Mix well until the batter is smooth. Heat the oil in frying pan with the medium flame. Dip the Paneer balls in the batter and gently drop them in the hot oil for frying. Turn them into Occasssionally, until the balls turns into golden brown. Blend the tomatoes, Green Chiliies and ginger make a puree. Mix fresh cream, Maida flour to smooth paste and keep it aside. Heat 2 tsp of oil in a frying pan. Add the cumin seeds and asafetida. Add tomato puree,coriander, turmeric, Red CHILLI powder and cook for 4 minutes on low flame. Once the Tomato starts leaving oil, the quantity is reduced by half. Now add fresh cream and Maida flour and mix salt and combine well. Add 1 cup of water and cook it for 6-7 minutes. Add Garam masala, salt and fresh cilantro leaves. Let it cook for another minute. Tip: As Kofthas are soft, just add them to the soup before serving, because otherwise they tend to break Yummy Malai Koftha is ready to serve, tastes better with Jeera Rice. Fond of Paneer and want to try any dish with the Paneer ingredient,  if so, here is  an Interesting North Indian Malai Koftha dish.This is creamy in texture and yummy in taste.

Ingredients

  • 1 cupShredded Paneer
  • 1 cupBoiled mashed potatoes
  • 2 tablespoonsMinced cilantro
  • 1/2 teaspoonCumin seed
  • 1/2 teaspoonSalt
  • 1 teaspoonChopped green chilly
  • to fryOil

For the Batter:

  • 2 ½ tablespoonsAll Purpose Flour / Maida
  • 4 tablespoonsWater

For The Gravy:
