Heat the oil in a kadhai, add cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and the prepared green paste, and saute on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes. Add the sweet corn, mix it well and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute and stir continuously. Tasty Corn Curry Recipe

Here is a quick and easy curry made of sweet corn, which will make you eat more chapatis than you usually do. It is mildly sweet and super tasty curry. With a balanced taste and pleasing appearance, this Corn Curry will be loved by all. Serve it hot with chapatis. 

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cupsboiled sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane) , lightly crushed
  • 2 tbspoil
  • 50cinnamon (dalchini)
  • 2cloves (laung / lavang)
  • 2cardamoms
  • 1 tspcornflour dissolved in 2 cups of coconut milk (nariyal ka doodh)
  • saltto taste

To Be Ground Into A Smooth Green Paste (using Little Water)

  • 1 1/2 cupsroughly chopped coriander (dhania)
  • 1/4 cupthinly sliced onions
  • 2 tbspfreshly grated coconut
  • 7(lehsun) cloves
  • 25ginger (adrak)
  • 4 tsppoppy seeds (khus-khus)
  • 6chilies, roughly chopped
  • 1 tsplemon juice

Directions

  • Blend chopped coriander, sliced onions, grated coconut, cloves, ginger, poppy seeds, green chilies and lemon juice into a smooth paste.
  • Heat the oil in a kadhai, add cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and the prepared green paste, and saute on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Add the sweet corn, mix it well and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute and stir continuously.
  • Add the cornflour-coconut milk mixture and salt, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 5 to 6 minutes and stir continuously.
  • Serve hot with roti/ paratha and steamed rice.
