Prep Time: 20min Cook time: 40min Ingredients: 200 gmfish fillets,1 tbspcoconut shredded,4-5cloves garlic minced,1 inchginger,2green chilies,1 tspred chili powder,1 tspcoriander powder,1/2 tspcumin seeds powder,1/2 tspmustard seeds powder,1 tspgaram masala powder,1 tbspbutter,1/2 tspblack pepper powder,1lemon juice,Fewcoriander leaves,Fewmint leaves,Saltto taste,Fewbanana leaves to wrap, Instructions: Clean and wash the fish fillets nicely in normal cold water and cut horizontally and slits the fillets from both sides. Rub a little bit of salt and lemon juice all the fillets and keep it aside at least for 20 minutes. Take the banana leaves and brush a little bit of butter on each banana leaf and keep it aside. Blend coconut, green chilies, garlic, ginger, coriander leaves and mint leaves to a smooth paste and add salt, garam masala, mustard seeds powder, cumin seeds powder, pepper powder, and red chili powder. Now spread this masala inside and outside the fish fillets and keep aside for 10 minutes. After 10 min wrap the marinated fillet in the banana leaf. Heat the steamer and arrange these marinated fish fillets in the steamer and leave to steam for about 30 minutes and cook on a low flame and keep checking in between. Remove from the flame and serve hot with steamed rice and salad. Tips If you do not have a steamer then you may use pan or wok with a tight lid. For the proper steaming in the pan or in any vessel, make the dough of wheat flour and stick on the edges of the vessel and then put the tight lid.
