(As the kheer cools down it will become thicker in texture). Serve this kheer and enjoy. Variation: Instead of rice, you can make the kheer using only almonds and pistachios and flavor with cardamom and saffron. Rice can be replaced with Vermicelli and kheer can be served chill or warm. Ingredients

  • 1/4 cuprice
  • 4 cupswhole milk
  • 1/4 cupsugar (adjust to taste)
  • 6strands of saffron
  • Pinchof crushed cardamom
  • 10-15sliced almonds
  • 10-15sliced pistachios
  • 1 teaspoonghee

Directions
