Add the rice flour and mix it well, stir continuously with a wooden spoon so that no lumps remain. Cover with a lid and cook on a low flame for 5 to 7 minutes or till the mixture leaves the sides of the pan and stir once in between and keep it aside. For The Tempering Heat the oil in a small pan, add the garlic and fry on a low flame till it releases a good flavor and switch off the flame and add the chili powder and mix it well and keep it aside.. How to proceed Transfer the Khichu to a serving bowl and pour the tempering over it and garnish with coriander leaves and serve it hot. Ingredients

  • 1 cupRice flour (chawal ka atta)
  • 1/2 tspCumin seeds (jeera) , roughly ground
  • 1/2 tspFinely chopped green chilies
  • A Pinch ofSoda bi-carbonates
  • SaltTo taste
  • 4 tspOil
  • 1 tbspFinely chopped garlic (lehsun)
  • 1 cupChopped mint and coriander leaves
  • 1 tspChili powder

For The Garnish

  • 1 tbspFinely chopped coriander (dhania)

Directions

For the Khichu
