Prep Time: 15min Cook time: 25min Ingredients: ½ cupSabudana,1 largePotato,¾ teaspoonCumin seeds,½ teaspoonSugar,1Green chili,2 tablespoonsWheat flour,¼ cupPeanuts,Saltto taste, Instructions: Soak sabudana in water for overnight or for atleast 4 hours Drain them and keep them aside Boil potatoes and pee the skin off Chop the boiled potatoes roughly Roast the peanuts till they turn golden brown in color Crush the roasted peanuts coarsely in mortar pestle Add all the ingredients liked peanut mixture, chopped potatoes, cumin seeds, chopped chilies to the drained sabudana Mix them well and add salt, sugar Place a pan on kadai and add oil to it Meanwhile make small balls using the mixture Once the oil is hot, add the balls to oil Deep fry the sabudana balls till they turn golden brown in color Remove them and drain the excess oil on kitchen towel Place them on serving bowl and serve it with any spicy chutney. Recipe of Sabudana pakoda – Navaratri Special Snacks

Sabudana Pakoda Recipe can be prepared for ekdashi fast or navaratri fast as these are considered as one of the excellent evening snacks. Sabudana Pakoras are easy to prepare at home. Have it with tomato sauce or with Onion Chutney.

Ingredients

  • ½ cupSabudana
  • 1 largePotato
  • ¾ teaspoonCumin seeds
  • ½ teaspoonSugar
  • 1Green chili
  • 2 tablespoonsWheat flour
  • ¼ cupPeanuts
  • Saltto taste

Directions

  • Soak sabudana in water for overnight or for atleast 4 hours
  • Drain them and keep them aside
  • Boil potatoes and pee the skin off
  • Chop the boiled potatoes roughly
  • Roast the peanuts till they turn golden brown in color
  • Crush the roasted peanuts coarsely in mortar pestle
  • Add all the ingredients liked peanut mixture, chopped potatoes, cumin seeds, chopped chilies to the drained sabudana
  • Mix them well and add salt, sugar
