Ingredients

  • ¾ cupRice
  • ¼ cupMoong dal
  • 1 tablespoonGhee or clarified butter
  • 1 teaspoonCumin seeds
  • saltto taste
  • 2 teaspoonsGrated ginger
  • 2 ½ cupsWater
  • 2Green chili
  • pinchTurmeric powder

Directions

  • Wash dal and rice with water
  • Soak them in water for atleast 15 minutes
  • Drain the water and set aside
