Prep Time: 10min Cook time: 20min Ingredients: 12fresh bread slices, For The Filling 1 cupcoarsely crushed sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane),1 tbspoil,1 tspfinely chopped green chillies,1/2 cupfinely chopped onions,1 tspsoya sauce,saltfreshly ground black pepper (kalimirch) to taste, Other Ingredients 3 tbspplain flour (maida),oildeep-frying, Instructions: For the filling Heat the oil in a broad non-stick pan, add the green chilies and onions and fry on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes. Add the sweet corn, soya sauce, salt and pepper, mix it well and cook on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes or till the mixture becomes dry and stir occasionally. Once done, switch off the flame and allow the mixture to cool completely and keep it aside. How to proceed Combine the plain flour and approx. 5 tbsp of water in a bowl and mix it very well and keep it aside. Remove the crust from all the bread slices and roll each bread slice with a help of a rolling pin. Place a rolled bread slice on a clean, dry surface and spread 1 tbsp of the prepared filling at one end of the bread slice and roll it up tightly. Apply a little plain flour-water mixture on all the sides to seal the edges completely Heat the oil in a deep non-stick kadhai and deep-fry, a few rolls at a time and fry till they turn golden brown in color from all the sides. Drain on an absorbent paper and cut each roll diagonally into two and serve it with any sauce of your choice.

Ingredients

  • 12fresh bread slices

For The Filling
