Cover it with a muslin cloth and keep it aside for 10 to 15 minutes. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll out each portion into 150 mm. (6”) diameter circle. Heat a non-stick tawa (griddle) and cook it on a medium flame and brush ghee over it and cook till both the sides are golden brown in color. Serve it hot with any side dish and enjoy a hearty meal. Kashmiri Roti is a  popular Indian bread of Kashmiri cuisine. This roti is prepared with curd, flour and different spices. This roti is flavorful, spongy and slightly different from regular roti. It perfect for weekend breakfast and perfect with any side dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 cupwhole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
  • 1/4 tspcumin seeds (jeera)
  • 1/4 tspfennel seeds (saunf)
  • 1/2 tspcrushed black pepper (kalimirch)
  • a pinchof asafoetida (hing)
  • 1/2 tspcarom seeds (ajwain)
  • 1/2 cupwarm milk
  • saltto taste

Directions
