Heat the ghee in a heavy bottomed saucepan on medium flame and add the chopped spinach, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder and salt and fry it on low flame and cook till the spinach is soft. Once the spinach is cooked, add the cooked dal and cook on low flame and once done switch off the flame. Heat ghee in a small pan and add the cumin seeds and chopped garlic and fry until the garlic turns lightly brown in color and switch off the flame. Lahsuni Palak Dal (Spinach and Lentil Curry with Garlic) Recipe

Lahsuni Palak Dal is a simple and wholesome dal recipe. This dish is prepared with moong dal and spinach and flavored with garlic. This dal has a mouth-watering flavor and a wonderful taste. It perfect with Indian meal.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cupYellow Moong Dal (Split)
  • 150 gramsSpinach Leaves (Palak), finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoonTurmeric powder (Haldi)
  • 1/2 teaspoonRed chili powder
  • 1 teaspoonCumin powder
  • SaltTo taste
  • 1 teaspoonCooking oil

For Garlic Tadka

  • 1 teaspoonGhee
  • 1/2 teaspoonCumin seeds
  • 5Cloves Garlic, finely chopped

Directions
