Prep Time: 15min Cook time: 10min Ingredients: 5 cupssliced Doodhi ( bottle gourd/Lauki),1 tbspoil,2 tspcumin seeds (jeera),1/2 tspasafoetida (hing),8curry leaves (kadi patta),1 tbspsugar,2 tspginger-green chili paste,saltto taste,1 tbspcoriander-cumin seeds (dhania-jeera) powder,2 tbspfinely chopped coriander (dhania),1 tbsplemon juice Instructions: Heat the oil in a pressure cooker and add the cumin seeds, curry leaves and asafoetida and when the cumin seeds crackle, add the bottle gourd, sugar, ginger -green chili paste, salt and 1 cup of water, mix it well and pressure cook for 20 min and switch off the flame. Allow the steam to escape before opening the lid and open the lid of the cooker and again switch on the flame and add the coriander-cumin seeds powder, coriander and lemon juice, mix it well and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute and stir occasionally and switch off the flame. Serve it hot with rice or roti.   • 5 cupssliced Doodhi ( bottle gourd/Lauki)
  • 1 tbspoil
  • 2 tspcumin seeds (jeera)
  • 1/2 tspasafoetida (hing)
